This web site is mostly about hunting with modern muzzleloading firearms. Its organized into the type of hunting and by firearm type. I attempt to separate hype from fact and offer first hand insights into hunting with a modern muzzleloader...what works and what doesn't work. I have no allegiance to any manufacturer or distributor and can tell it the way it is. I don't hunt exotic game and locations and I can relate to the avid hunter who gets out a few days to a few weekends a year and has to make those days count. I'm still learning also so this site will evolve as I gain more experience trying different muzzleloading equipment, techniques, and local hunts.
This web site also documents what I believe to be the first commercial "scout" type in-line rifle. This is a picture of the prototype that was used to test the concept. Does it work? Absolutely! I had five of them built on Austin & Halleck rifles for sale to test the market. Apparently the price point for this type of rifle is lower than I could price them and make a modest profit.
